Applicants must be Washington State residents who are college juniors, seniors or graduate students at Washington State four-year colleges. Students must major in print and broadcast journalism, television and radio production, film advertising, public relations, marketing, graphic design, multimedia design, photography or technical communication. Selection is based on demonstrated excellence in communications, contributions toward communications, scholastic achievement, financial need and work samples.
