Applicants must be graduating high-school seniors in the Austin, TX area with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are planning to pursue a field of medicine that benefits depression or addiction recovery. In addition to the application, students must also submit a one-page letter explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship and how they plan on improving the lives of those affected by depression and/or substance addiction.
