Applicants must be pursuing a career in the healthcare industry. Students must either be college-bound or be currently enrolled at either a public college, private college or technical school. Applicants must live in counties serviced by the Primary Health Network. Students cannot be employees of the Primary Health Network. However, their immediate family members may apply. Applicants must write an essay of at least 600 words as part of the application process. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Finalists must be able to sit for an interview at the end of the application process and all winners must attend an awards ceremony in June.
