Applicants must live in the state of Massachusetts for at least one year prior to the beginning of the school year, and they must be enrolled in a state-funded college. They must be in an undergraduate program with at least three credits per semester. Students must not owe any refunds on prior scholarships and cannot have any defaulted government loans. They must also be able to show proof of financial need.
