Applicants must be North Carolina residents who are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an approved North Carolina private postsecondary institution and have unmet financial need. They must not be enrolled in a program that is designed primarily to prepare students for religious vocations. Licensure students may also apply if they have a bachelor's degree and are enrolled in undergraduate classes in a licensure program for teachers or nurses.
