Applicants must be graduating from or graduates of a Berkeley County School with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students must plan to attend an accredited technical school, college or university located in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia to pursue a nursing degree program of not less than two years. Selection is based on financial need as well as a declared intent to remain in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and work as a
nurse for at least one year after completion of the nursing program. Priority is given to applicants who are unlikely to benefit from the West Virginia PROMISE program. Scholarship is multi-year and will be divided equally during the course of study.
