Applicants must be graduating seniors of a Berkeley County High School who plan to attend West Virginia University. Selection is based on financial need, participation in sports and a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. Priority is given to students who are unlikely to receive other scholarships such as the West Virginia PROMISE. Scholarship may be renewable for up to 4 years with at least a 2.5 GPA after freshman year, 2.75 GPA after sophomore year and 2.9 GPA after Junior year.
