Applicants must be Texas residents or nonresident National Merit Finalists. They must be enrolled at a private, non-profit Texas institution in a first associate's, bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree program. Applicants cannot be athletic scholarship recipients and must demonstrate financial need. Applicants must maintain at least a 2.5 GPA and must complete 24 credit hours per year. Selection is based on financial need.
