Applicants must be West Virginia residents and high school seniors or GED recipients who are planning to attend a West Virginia postsecondary institution. They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher or a GED score of 2500 or higher. Applicants must also have a combined reading and math SAT score of 1020 or higher or a composite ACT score of 22 or higher. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
